Tyler Cranston singled in a run in the bottom of the 6th and Notre Dame held on for a 4-3 win over Sunnyslope in 5A conference action.
Cranston drove in 3 of the Saints’ 4 runs on a 3-4 day.. His 2 RBI triple in the bottom of the second scored Blaze Borowsky and Tommy Roskos to get the Saints on the board and take a 2-1 lead.
Jarrett Pille tossed a complete game , scattering 6 hits, striking out 2 with zero walks.

Show Low outhit ALA 16-8, but Show Low pitching gave up 8 walks on the day.
Xavier Canche worked 6 2/3 innings for ALA with 8 punch outs.

The Wolves did all their damage in the top of the first off Falcon starter Matt Bohnert, with the big blow a 3 run no doubter home run by Jacob McLeod.
Bohnert had trouble finding his breaking ball in the first inning, but after that he was lights out. The junior lefty allowed only 2 hits after the opening frame and punched out 10.
